Zoe now can identify Cookie, Big Bird and Elmo! She has a Cookie stuffed animal, as seen in the picture above, many Elmos, and my Big Bird chair....which is still in perfect 2 year old size condition!
Over the last few months, Zoe has increased her comprehension and vocabulary. While her overall speech is still at about 22 months, she is making great progress. She receives speech twice while at school as well as at a rehab center. She also sees an OT both and home and at the rehab. She loves all her wonderful teachers and she truly has made strides because of their love and persistence.
Mommy keeps buying furniture, returning it and getting newer stuff she likes better. The house finally has some new paint in the dining room and entry way; a diy project that went well! Things are being hung on the wall too! Mommy is steam-cleaning the grout back to its original color....this may take years really considering all the square feet of tile!
Zoe is mastering swimming with a floaty! She can blow bubbles and tried to put her head underwater to swim this week. Lessons by Mommy (past swim instructor you know).
I am sure there is more to update on but this Mommy is tired! As Zoe says, "nigh, nigh, thank you mommy".
