8 months and a handful of days!

Zoe, you need to remind me to blog more often! So much has happened since the last post. First of all, we moved! You now have a much bigger room and your own playroom! You had your first cold (where did you get it by the way??) just as we were moving...but despite the cough and runny nose, you did remarkably well! About a week before we moved, you decided that you would sleep on your belly! After months and months of sleeping on your side (mainly left side), you discovered another way to sleep! I knew rolling was just around the corner. Yup! She is now a rolling expert! She occasionally forgets about her arm (it gets stuck) but she pretty much can cross a room in 10 seconds flat!! Who needs to crawl when you can roll and tushyscoot your way around? She hasn't discovered crawling yet...will she skip it?

You have a nice routine these days. You breastfeed only four times a day now. I wondered if this was enough, but I think it is! You love purees. I am trying to plump you up :) You have a meal three times a day! You are a Gerber baby. I still really haven't desired to make you baby food (though I am sure it is very easy and not very expensive). Those Gerber folks can cook for me anytime! You eat in your high chair! It fits you perfectly!!

You nap two times a day. Sometimes for two hours (each nap)!!!!!!!!! You continue to sleep through the night (thank goodness) from around 7ish-7ish. A few times till 8a! Lucky me!

I have no clue how much you weigh (15 pounds, something ounces is my guess). You STILL are wearing some 0-3 month shirts! Most of your outfits are 3-6 (or 6 months) as baby clothing sizes are all over the place! We finally have ventured out of the onesie and pant combo!! It is summer and we have some cute clothes (um...I may be jealous of her clothes!).

Your hair is still light brown (though the red tint seems to come out with certain lighting). The back of your head hardly has hair...wonder when that will start to grow.

You now pet the cats and smile at everyone! You raspberry only if you are in a position you don't like or if it is time for a nap. You are a much much happier baby now that you can sit up and play!

Will the spit-up ever end??????????? and now it has colors since you eat purees....mommy has to wash most of your outfits/pjs in the sink first before wash!
