Life Lesson: Jumping a car

I rarely drive my car these days. There really is no need. I ride a shuttle to work most days or ride with the husband. Sometimes I hop on the T...cause I find it fun! Weekends is my turn to drive. Earlier in the week I grabbed something from my car and hit the overhead light.....and never turned it off.....OOPS!

Fast forward to the weekend. I was ready to do some Saturday errands. I pressed my alarm for the car...soft beep....that didn't sound normal. I get in the car, turn the key, and NOTHING!! I looked up and said....OH NO!

Lucky for me, I had another car that I could use to jump mine...and I somehow chose a space that allowed my to drive the car right next to mine!

So I grabbed the cables....
Attached them to the right locations (yes!) and tada, my car was brought back to life. Car defibrillation if you will. Certainly not what I was planning on doing with my Saturday morning!

I was very proud of myself....and still a bit in shock that so many neighbors drove right by and didn't stop to offer assistance!

So...if you need help jumping your car....call me :)
