Hello NYC!

Memorial Day weekend = a weekend to escape from Boston and explore! We knew it would be easier staying somewhat close to home, so we opted for the Big Apple! We went with a very economical choice for travel, Bolt Bus. The bus is clean, the drivers friendly and best of all, free WiFi! Whoever thought of putting WiFi on buses between cities is super cool! It passes the time and allows you to catch up on emails, see what people are doing on Facebook or to shop for the next fun item! The temperature on the bus is enjoyable - not too hot and not too cold - rare that a temperature is comfortable for both of us!

Our hosts were very gracious and let us read and tickle and play with their daughter! I still think we will be talking like her for days to come!

We hung out in Central Park and rode the subway! We ate at some fantastic restaurants and most interesting of all....we entered the EVIL EMPIRE 2. Number 1 would be the original stadium, but this is the newer version. I said I would NEVER enter, but it was only to support my husband and to cheer on the FIghten' Phils! The Phillies did end up winning (thank goodness!) and I was able to bask in the glorious (hot!) sun for a few hours. (What is Memorial Day without some sun?!).

The trip was relaxing and for just a minute, I think neither of us thought about work!! YAAAAA. Now we will travel through NJ (we are on the turnpike now)...to some other states (not sure which way he is going to choose...it is a holiday, who knows where we will end up) and then back to good ol CH.

A long week awaits us, but now we can go into it feeling a bit renewed. Yaa!

My goal(s) for the week: (FYI...these are my goals every week!)

1. No stressing about work...it's JUST WORK!
2. Eat well
3. Work out
